I was just wondering if anyone else here was sad enough to have built from scratch a microsoft office access database to log their crop yields? Or am I the only one?
Mine tends to be more of a log of plot location (I have 3) It's also divided into crop rotation, Yield, planting times. I also have a built in plant calculator that can tell you how many plants you are able to get in a row just by you filling in some details such as planting distance and row length and how many rows you want to plant. Even worse not only do I now have a log of how many strawberries (Just over 19kg.) I've picked this season it tells me which months have been most productive on all pickings of my veg.
Yep, All programmed by my good self (blows own trumpet). I'll post it on here if you think anyone could use it?
I tried a similar thing on an excel spreadsheet but found it wasn't able to do half the stuff I would have liked. Hence the upgrade to access.
I'm sure your notebook is absolutely fine for what you want to record Jacqueline. But if you fancy adding photos of your produce as well as comments about pests and diseases then this might be the way forward.
Gaz.
