Hi Denise - your allotment sounds great. I have a very big garden but have only given a tiny little bit over to veggies this year to see how I get on.
I have found that sowing seeds by the moon is not much problem although I have failed to sow parsnips because i want them to go straight into the ground and I have missed the last three occasions because of bad weather. Still, I think it is improving now. As the cycle comes round quite quickly I just wait and plant out on a day in the cycle.

Hi Denise,
I just saw your comments about moon planting in the forum. I'm a newbie veg gardener, this is my first year, and I have decided to try and follow the moon planting guidelines. Maybe we can share our experiences.

Do you have a big veg patch?

The photo is quite old now, sadly she is no longer with us but she was very cute. She had a pet Dalmatian and they got on really well.
