Okay, l've had my fill of runner beans and the freezer is full of them! I've left a load on the poles and l am waiting until they fully dry off and then l am going to save them for sowing next year.…

How curious! Yes, John Parry...that was a long story, and long ago. I followed my instincts to not buy from a very odd man, and it turned out to be a very good thing.
You've obviously made a good move yourselves - have you got a lot of garden yourselves, or are you doing gardening for others? What an opportunity to apply your knowledge in many different ways.
I'm interested to hear you plant by the moon, I'm just beginning to investigate that, and would welcome any suggestions.
