Sam, I am fortunate to live in a fertile river valley which is (usually) very mild, so most crops get away to an early start. Like you, I am looking forward to a good spring and not too wet summer this year.

Onions, peppers, aubergines, chillies, cabbages, lettuce, leeks, peas, broad beans and cauliflower all started in my (slightly) heated greenhouse. Shallots also in modules ready for planting out in March.
